This year the Festival celebrates its 15th Anniversary featuring presentations by renowned national and local authors, book signings, Antiquarian Book Dealers (that's us!, plus our fellow booksellers), exhibitors, book sales, Appraisals (ABDASC will host this), children's events, an art show, and more!

Many members of ABDASC will be participating in the SCBook Festival again this year. ABDASC is a long-time participant and sponsor of the SCBook Festival. Look for us particularly at the Book Appraisal Desk, Brunching with Authors, and in Antiquarian Row.

Book Appraisals

For those interested in finding out how much some of their own books are worth, the Antiquarian Book Dealers’ Association of South Carolina (ABDASC) will host an Appraisal Desk at the Book Festival. Bring your old books, ephemera and other dated items by the desk for an estimate on the value of these treasures!

For $10 (cash or check), you can have up to 3 books appraised by an antiquarian book dealer.

Appraisal Desk Hours
Friday, May 13 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 14 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Sunday, May 15 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The Appraisal Desk is located in the exhibit hall. For outside appointments and cost estimates, please call 803-791-8002.
